This Thuraya XT-LITE comes with a NOVA SIM card which includes 60 units (70 Minutes) to help get you started. To activate your SIM card you simply use the QR in your booklet with your SIM card to access the easy accessible online process. Your SIM card becomes active for one year from the date of the first call, however your initially activated 10 units, will become inactive after just 30 days from activation. A renewal fee of 39 Units will be taken from your airtime balance on the first anniversary of the first call made. If no balance is available your SIM may be disconnected and a reconnection fee will apply. If your account remains dormant for 12 months or more a monthly dormancy fee of 19 Units will be deducted from the balance of your SIM.
Please be aware that Thuraya does not offer global coverage and their handsets will not work in North/South America and surrounding regions. Please ensure that the region you will be using the handset in is within Thuraya’s satellite footprint.
